You love us, this we know, because Your Word tells us so. I know that Jane and her family belong to You because You are their Savior. No matter how weak we are, You will always be our strength. Stay close to us all the way. Because of everything You have done, help us to live for You. Stay close to us through this night. Relieve us of our self-inflicted stress and confusion - we know this is not of You, but of the master of confusion. In Jesus' name and His holy blood, we claim our households for Him. This is a battle, dear God, but the battle belongs to You.
Sometimes You calm the storm, and other times You hold Your child.
The Reason He Came
This is how much God loved the world: He gave His Son, His one and only Son.
And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in Him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.
God didn't go to all the trouble of sending His Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the whole world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again.
Anyone who trusts in Him is ACQUITTED.
John 3:16-18a
