Unhappy Post

Three things I have never done that make me very unhappy.
1. I have never attended Abby's first birthday.
2. I have never attended Abby's second birthday.
3. I have never attended Abby's third birthday.

My DIL

Text language is something I am learning ........ DIL, in case you didn't know, stands for daughter-in-law. Bless her heart. She keeps giving me grandchildren and laughs about it (after the fact). I learn something new from her all the time. Heaven help the DILs of the future in our family...... they have to pass her test. God blessed me when he gave me my first daughter.

Journeys

After living in Georgia for almost four years, I practically have every sign memorized on Interstate 85 North. I have used every rest area between here and Charlotte. I have eaten from every dollar menu ever invented. I am learning the rest areas on Interstate 20 East. My body is tired, my mind is blurred, and my heart has ached for the times when I got to look at everybody's face all at one time. This is,by far, one of my favorite songs ever and pretty much sums it up .......

Every Moment
By: Joy Williams
We laughed out loud ‘til we cried
And the tears were sweet
Midnight melted to morning
A moment faded to memory
All these days
They just slip away through our fingers
So…
Don’t let go
Hold onto every moment
Always know
Hold onto every moment that You can
We move on
with no regrets to our destiny
Held by the hands of the Father
We share His love and He leads us through
All these days
They just slip away through our fingers
So…
Don't let go
Hold onto every moment
Always know
Hold onto every moment that You can
Running through yesterday into tomorrow
Don’t let it just drift away
Forget about tying the hands of time
Give every minute to the One who gave us today
